While improving immune health, the NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) precursor NR (nicotinamide riboside) may induce anxiety-like behavior in stressed, aged mice. 


The study was funded by the National Institute on Aging, one of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
