New research suggests that nicotinamide riboside (NR) combined with N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) prevents telomere shortening linked to genetic sequences within the cell’s powerhouse (mitochondria) in human cells.

A new study suggests the NAD+ precursor NR combined with the antioxidant NAC may counteract telomere shortening, a hallmark of aging.

Participants: Healthy middle-aged adults (average age: 55)
Dosage: 100 mg/day of Monarda didyma L. extract, preferably at lunchtime with plenty of water, for 12 weeks

An extract made from Monarda didyma L. reduces the biological age of older adults while improving their quality of life.
