Researchers at the Max Planck Institute have unveiled that combining trametinib with rapamycin, drugs used in cancer treatment, extends average lifespan by 29% in female mice and 27% in male mice, respectively.

New Study Suggests NR Modestly Improves Cognition in Age-Related Vascular Disease

Taking NR was associated with improved blood flow to a specific brain region following cognitive stimulation, as well as trends toward enhanced cognition in patients with age-related vascular disease.

After accounting for previously unaddressed issues, researchers find that human lifespan is over 50% heritable, challenging previous estimates of 25%.

Cognitive deficits were reduced by 52% in Alzheimer’s disease patients receiving transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) — a technique that stimulates the brain’s electrical activity.
