The medical division of Dräger is pleased to announce that it was awarded “Best in Show” exhibit at the 55th International Congress of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) held this past December in San Antonio, Texas.

The AARC’s Congress is the nation’s largest gathering for members of the respiratory care community to share technical innovations and clinical advancements. Approximately 6,000 respiratory therapists, physicians, and other clinicians attend the show annually.

Dräger is a global leader in mechanical ventilation, providing a wide variety of ventilator solutions that span the marketplace including critical care, neonatal care, non-invasive and chronic/acute care. During exhibit hours, Dräger representatives showcased the latest technological advances in mechanical ventilation. Additionally, multiple lectures covering a wide range of ventilation topics were provided by a team of clinical application specialists.

Ray Masferrer, associate executive director of the AARC said, “Dräger’s exhibit was selected because of its revolutionary new design and aesthetic appeal which inspired attendee and product interaction.” Ed Coombs, associate director of marketing for Dräger commented, “This award signifies Dräger’s commitment to improving the lives of patients and continuing to develop ventilation products that are proven effective and user-friendly for the RT community. Our corporate partnership with the AARC and participation in industry research demonstrates our commitment to advancing the science of respiratory care.”
