with hemodynamic data on the same display – both on the bedside monitor
and also at remote locations across the Infinity Network. The Infinity etCO2 +
Respiratory Mechanics Pod also calculates VCO2 (CO2 elimination), TVd/TVphy
(physiologic dead space ratio), and TValv (alveolar tidal volume) for all patient
categories, providing an extensive overview of the patient’s pulmonary status.
The pod can also serve as a trend indicator of blood-gas changes, reducing
the need for costly blood-gas measurements.
